CBP is aware of the issue where PO messages are not being sent out to filers in response to a standalone (PE) transaction. The technical team is actively investigating the issue and another CSMS will be issued upon Resolution.

CBP is aware of network/VPN connectivity issues currently being experienced by several ACE trading partners who are unable to connect to the CBP MQ router to retrieve messages from CBP.

CBP OneNet, network engineers and technicians are actively trouble-shooting the issue.

AES filers will be unable to submit filings during this period, regardless of your connection type.

CSMS# 17-000534 – RESOLVED: Delayed ACE Entry Summary Response (AX) messages

Automated Broker Interface The issue with delayed ACE Entry Summary Response (AX) messages being sent to the trade has been RESOLVED. Normal processing resumed by approximately 16:25 ET, with a small number of exceptions. If you are still missing an AX response, please resubmit the entry summary. For the people who tried to resubmit the entry summary and received a rejection error “CANCEL ENTRY THEN RESUBMIT NEW FDA DATA”, there is No need to Cancel the entry summary; please just resubmit the summary without certifying for cargo processing again (e.g., without the FDA data). Please be advised that CBP-ACE is aware of a delayed response in ACE Entry Summary Response (AX) messages. The issue started approximately 15:16 ET today and ACE technical staff is actively investigating.
Another CSMS will be issued once a resolution becomes available.

CSMS# 17-000530 – *Update* Guidance to Trade on Cargo Processing during Hurricane Harvey

Trade Policy Updates “For cargo being diverted from the Port of Houston to another CBP port, CBP will accept a copy of the CBP Form 3171 that was presented to Houston, due to the fact that trading partners with offices in Houston may be unable to create a new 3171. Pen and ink changes to the copy reflecting the new Port, (block 2), Arriving From (block 6), Date/Time of Arrival (block 7) and Locations (block 8), and as applicable, will be sufficient.” Related CSMS No. 17-000521, 17-000521

CSMS #17-000501 RESOLVED:Delays in processing Entry Summary, Cargo Release and Cargo Release Queries

The issue referenced in CSMS# 17-000500 is resolved. CBP is now able to successfully process
Entry Summaries, Cargo Release and Cargo Release Query messages and responses are being returned to Trade.

Trade filers who transmitted the entries to CBP between 19:40 and 21:15 and did not get responses back from CBP are encouraged to retransmit their entries to CBP.

ACE Technical Staff will continue to monitor the application.
