CSMS #18-000033 Rollback of ESV Causing NAFTA Summary Rejections

Title: Rollback of ESV Causing NAFTA Summary Rejections

Date: 1/11/2018 10:30:47 AM

To: Automated Broker Interface

CBP needs to perform a PRODUCTION code rollback of a Entry Summary Validation that was deployed

this morning. A logical inconsistency has been found in the business rule that is causing NAFTA duty free claims to reject with the “EST DUTY/CALC’D DUTY MISMATCH” error. This rollback will require closing the Entry Summary queue for about ten minutes. We plan to perform this rollback at 1030 this morning.

Entries affected by this rejection should be resubmitted after the correction is made. If you have any questions, please contact your Client Representative.
